The 2nd Aceh Global Conference on Social Communication and Political Sciences 2019

The 2nd Aceh Global Conference on Social, Communication and Political Sciences (AGC-SCOPOS) 2019 is an International Conference for information distribution, scientific discussions on Social, Communication and Political Sciences which organizes by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Syiah Kuala.

The 2nd AGC-SCOPOS 2019 provides an excellent forum for sharing knowledge and research findings among academics, professionals, practices and governments. The topic of interest covers all the theoretical and practical aspects.

The theme for the 2nd AGC-SCOPOS 2019 is The 4th Industrial Revolution Challenges and Issues on Social, Communication, Political and Governmental Aspects: Are We Prepared?”

Call For Papers

The 4th Industrial Revolution has potential to raise global income levels and improve the quality of life. To date, those who have gained the most from it have been consumers able to afford and access the digital world; technology has made possible new products and services that increase the efficiency and pleasure of lives, societal including local and global situations. Most of human interaction and activities can now be done remotely.

The largest beneficiaries of innovation tend to be the providers of intellectual and physical capital (the innovators, shareholders, and investors). Technology is, therefore, one of the main reasons why incomes have also stagnated, or even decreased, for a majority of the population in many countries: the demand for highly skilled workers has increased while the demand for workers with less education and lower skills has decreased.  For these situations, it is important to know more comprehensively the 4th Industrial Revolution challenges and issues on the social, communication, political and governmental aspects and to know whether we are better prepared or not to face all of this?

For such purposes, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Syiah Kuala, cordially invite scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students from various disciplines such as political science, sociology, communication, urban studies, governmental and developmental studies, and other relevant disciplines to the 2nd AGC-SCOPOS 2019.
